I wanted to hike the Grand Canyon, so I came to Arizona in 1987 to go to college.  I started at Mesa Community College then went on to Arizona State University, graduating with a B.A. degree in Intercultural Communication. Right before I graduated and started planning for my future, God reminded me of my commitment to Him when I was 15 years old back in Malaysia — that I would serve as a short term missionary for His Kingdom. So I served as a student minister and worship leader at three different American churches at various times for a total of twelve years. Then God allowed me to gain other work experiences via warehouse management, debt collection, supermarket operation management, and sales for about ten years prior to GPCCC calling me as the administrator in 2016. I am married to my lovely wife, Tanya, since 2007, and we are blessed with a son, Titus, and a daughter, Leah. We enjoy the great outdoors, and I’ve logged over 400 miles and counting in hiking the Grand Canyon.
