I am a 6th generation Christian, growing up in the church. Being born in Hong Kong, I came to U.S.A. for college. After graduating with my Ph.D. in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics at the University of Illinois, I immigrated and eventually settled in Phoenix, Arizona. Elder Songhua Shi was born and raised up in Zhejiang Province of China. He moved to U.S. in 1994, accepted Jesus Christ and baptized in 1998, and moved to Phoenix Arizona in 2000. He has been attending and serving in GPCCC since June 2000. His main calling is to make the Gospel known to the people. He has been a GPCCC elder since 2016, mainly overseeing church outreach ministry. He and hiswife have two children. They are all grown up.
