Pastor Josh Ong, our speaker, was born in Malaysia but grew up in Phoenix, AZ, where his parents owned a Chinese restaurant. He attended high school in Singapore, because his parents moved there for seminary, and he received the call into ministry the summer before he started college. Josh graduated from Biola University with a B.A. in Christian Education and an M.A. in E.S.L. from the University of Arizona. God has allowed him to serve as a Youth Pastor in Columbus, OH and Fort Worth, TX, and then an English Pastor in NYC. He currently serves as the Young Adult and College Pastor at Dallas Chinese Bible Church. He is married to Sherry and they have a son, Caleb.
