PRAY:
Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials on Fri., Oct. 10 arrested 30 pastors across at least seven provinces who are part of the underground Zion Church network, extending what China Aid called “the most extensive and coordinated wave of persecution against urban independent house churches in China in over four decades…(pastors) have been arbitrarily detained, disappeared, or placed under house arrest, their homes and worship venues have been ransacked, property confiscated, and their families harassed.”
On Sunday Oct. 12. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio called on China to release the pastors, noting that “This crackdown further demonstrates how the CCP exercises hostility towards Christians who reject Party interference in their faith and choose to worship at unregistered house churches.” Pray for the pastors to be released, their families to be comforted, and churches to be strengthened.
