- English Associate Pastor of Young Adults and Young Families Candidate Steve Houston will be interviewing Fri.-Sun., September 6-8. The English-speaking ministry has Friday 7-9 p.m. in the Cantonese room with P. Steve. The young adults and young families have Sat., 6-8 p.m. in the church office room 201 with him. - 2024 Mission Conference is Fri.-Sun., September 20-22. Our theme is “Proclaim His Name” and our speaker is Jeff Gulleson. 30 Day Prayer for Mission Conference began Wed., August 21.
- International Missions Conference Potluck, Sat., September 21, 4:30-5:50 p.m. In the breezeway, grab a Post-it with a food type on it and bring enough of your dish to feed five. This way, food from all our mission fields is represented.

Kohei & Linda Koyama (Japan): 1. Pray that we will have more opportunities to share the Good News through studying the word together and we’d be able to invite non-believing friends to join us in our home more regularly for meals and fellowship (like the Acts community). 2. Pray for our family, that we would love our kids well and that they would see God daily in their lives and choose to put their trust in Him. 3. Pray that we would be an encouragement to the church and serve in ways that are helpful to build up our church and the Kingdom of God in Yamagata together.
