WORD: Jesus, Prince of Peace
Chris Sung • Isaiah 9:6-7
PRAY:
Heavenly Father, In the stillness of Christmas, we pray for Your Church to remain faithful to the Gospel entrusted to her. As the Word became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:14), may Your truth dwell richly in our preaching, teaching, and living. Guard the Church from compromise, fear, and distraction. In a world that reshapes truth for comfort, give us courage to proclaim Christ crucified and risen with clarity and love. Let the message of the manger never be reduced to sentiment alone, but upheld as the divine act of salvation unfolding among humanity. Strengthen those who preach under pressure, worship under persecution, and believe in secret places. May the Church carry the Gospel not as a burden, but as a joyful proclamation of hope. This Christmas, renew our reverence for Scripture, our obedience to Your voice, and our devotion to Christ alone, who “is the same yesterday and today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).
Please remember to pray for Elder Andy’s healing from a mild heart attack last
Sunday.
