  5. Offering. At GPC, we don’t pass an offering plate. In 2 Cor. 9:7-15, we are taught to give as we are able and with joy. If you would like to give an offering as part of your act of worship, we have offering boxes in the lobby, you can use a credit card or use Zelle with giving@gpccc.org.
  6. Children’s Ministry is seeking passionate teachers to lead our Children’s worship and Children’s Sunday school from March-May. Contact Children’s Ministry Director Mary Wong (children.ministry@gpccc.org).
  7. Children’s Ministry’s Lunch and Learn is Sun., Feb. 23, 1:00-2:20pm in CO-203 on Leading Worship: At Home and in Class. All teachers, parents and potential teachers can join. Register online. Contact Children.Ministry@gpccc.org for info.
  8. Children’s Worship will be combined with English adult worship starting March 1 during praise and worship time (9:30-9:50am), afterwards will be in Fellowship Hall from 9:50-10:50am for story and activities.

There is a name and a power by which we experience great grace.

  1. By What Name Do Believers Take Action? Jesus! (4:5-14)
    • The Council Demanded Answers About the Apostles’ Activities (4:7)
      • The name of Jesus was politically incorrect. It often still is.
      • The name some seek to suppress is the name we seek to express.
    • Jesus’ name gets ultimate credit & holds exclusive claims. (:10-12)
