I was born in Taipei, Taiwan. My husband Dewey Wong and I have been married for 15 years and we have two girls, Kara and Lizzie. I accepted Christ when I was 14 years old at a youth camp called Wild of the Rockies. Growing up I have always wanted to be a teacher. After graduating from high school, I decided to attend a state college to pursue my dream of being a teacher. I would volunteer to teach Sunday school and would help at a local ministry outreach group during arts and crafts for kids. I majored in Special Education and have also taught in Colorado.
I have been an admin at a Christian preschool for almost 13 years. My job allowed me to both teach in a classroom when needed and assist in other areas as well. It was then that I realized I would like to one day be able to work in a field that does ministry with kids and share God’s words with them and their family. Working at the preschool has allowed me to reach out to many unbelieved families. Being able to plant the seed of salvation to the preschoolers has made me have a burning desire that I would like to work in ministry and be able to share God’s words.
I started attending GPCCC back in May 2004 after moving to Arizona from Colorado. Our family came back to GPCCC in April 2024. We have really enjoyed being part of this wonderful church family and our children have also enjoyed attending both the Youth program and children’s programs.
