To answer the Lord’s calling for the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20), GPCCC is committed to evangelizing, discipling and planting churches both in our local community and around the world. Presently we support overseas and local missionaries, Christian organizations, and local community outreach. The means of outreach is through individual, family, small group and fellowships, individual congregations and the church as a whole.
We currently have four deacons and an elder responsible for overseeing missions and outreach at GPCCC. Those areas are:
- Overseas Mission – Tasked with overseeing long term mission fields and church planting through short term mission teams.
- Missionary Care – A committee to ensure that the needs of our own missionaries, seminarians and interns are provided for.
- Chinese Local Outreach – Mandarin and Cantonese community outreach.
- English Local Outreach – English language community outreach.
In terms of finances, GPCCC is a faith based community relying on an annual pledge rather than directly budgeting for our outreach efforts. God has continually provided for all our financial needs.
